Thuja is an evergreen tree that is widely known for its ornamental values.

• Thuja trees are treasured with reddish-brown stringy-textured bark and flat shoots. Their leaves grow in a range of 1-10mm in length. These trees bloom with violet-white tubular flowers. These are easy to grow trees, and will be perfect to cultivate in a border or small outdoor garden or container etc. considering its ornamental values too.

• Their leaf oil is highly valued especially among folk medicines. They could be used in treating respiratory diseases related to bronchitis and cold sores. Thuja are mainly known for loosening phlegm and treating skin infections. They could help in boosting the immune system, increase urine flow. When applied directly to skin, then it could help to deal with joint pain, muscle pain, skin diseases, osteoarthritis and warts. They could also be treated as an insect repellent.

Thuja has commercial purposes too.

• In the manufacturing sector, due to their distinct fragrance, thuja are being used for making soaps and cosmetic products.

Thuja are easy to care for, and Drought tolerant.

• They prefer to grow well in full sunlight conditions, and they could also survive in partial shade too. Water them moderately enough to keep their soil moist. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained. Ideally the temperature around them must be about 18.33 to 21.11 degree Celsius to sight their healthy growth. And in terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers.

• Thuja consists of medicinal values, and a certain amount of it is fine, but when ingested a large dose, then it may cause vomiting, seizures, queasiness, diarrhoea and even can cause death. Therefore, it’s not safe to keep them around your children or pets.

Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.

No cancellations are entertained for those products that the Plantsworld.ae marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Eid, Birthday, Valentine’s Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.

In case of receipt of damaged or defective consumer durable items and nondurable items, please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 1 day of receipt of the products.

In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.
