• Pomelo tree (Botanically known as Citrus maxima) is a tall fruit bearing tree that grows in a range of 4.9 – 15.2m. They are possessed with a crooked trunk with a thickness of about 10 – 30 cm and low-hanging irregular branches. Their leaves are distinctive too, winged with alternate elliptic or ovate shapes with leathery texture, gull green on top surface and hairy lower side. The Pomelo tree (Citrus maxima) also blooms during warm weather and during regular rainfall, with yellow-white flowers that generally emerge as a single or in a cluster. They are widely known for the large citrus fruit that it bears. These fruits have a thicker rind than a grapefruit and taste also somewhat of mild grapefruit too. There is a chance that flowers and fruits may grow simultaneously. With easy to care condition, distinctive appearance, and their resourceful fruits, they could be an excellent choice for your outdoor garden.

Pomelo-Citrus maxima are edible fruits that are widely consumed around the world for its medicinal and culinary values.

• Usually, fruits that they bear emerge in between 3 to 6 years. And then these fruits may take additional 6 to 8 months to ripen and once they ripen, they are more sweetened. Their flesh is of white colour and contains bitter grapefruit bitterness. They are generally eaten directly and even used in folk medicinal purposes, treating as sedative in convulsive cough, nervous affections and even in dealing with epilepsy and haemorrhagic diseases.

Pomelo trees are easy to care for.

• Pomelo trees (Citrus maxima) will survive well when kept in presence of natural bright sunlight and even in partial shade conditions, especially at its young stage in a container. Water them thoroughly especially during summer season and gradually reduce it in winter and rainy season. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained and rich with organic content. To sight their healthy growth ideally temperature must be around 29 – 35 degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizer at least once a month.

In case of receipt of damaged or defective consumer durable items and nondurable items, please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 1 day of receipt of the products.

In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.
