• Philodendron-imperial Red is one of the several hybrid philodendrons that is popular among enthusiastic house planters. This species is not a good climber like its cousins, instead they are known to be self-headers. Philodendron-imperial Red Plants do have a distinct characteristic too, with upright growth due to its stiff and barely visible stem. They also contain glossy green red coloured oval shaped leaves, which emerges close to each other in a single stem. Keep a note that their foliage is toxic in indigestion, and so these plants should be kept away from pets and kids.

• It has been proven by NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration) that while keeping the Philodendron-imperial Red as an indoor plant could result in good air quality in your surroundings. Philodendron-imperial Red are easy to care for.

• These indoor plants thrive in Medium indirect light, but also could survive in low light too. Water them moderately less. And allow their soil to get dry before applying water. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained and sandy. Ideal temperature for their healthy growth must be 21.1 – 29.4 degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use organic fertilizer and apply them once every month, especially during spring and summer.

• Entire parts of this plant are poisonous, due to the content, calcium oxalate crystals in them. Any kind of ingestion, would lead to intense burning sensation inside mouth, lips, tongues and even some symptoms like excessive drooling or difficulty in swallowing could occur. In case of receipt of damaged or defective consumer durable items and nondurable items, please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 1 day of receipt of the products.
