Mostly they are used as Christmas Tree when young in pot size. Treasured with horizontal branches, that whorls around the slender, grow upright. Then the branchlets are covered with small, point-tipped spiral overlapping leaves. Hence, Araucaria Columnaris are easily noticeable. And in addition to appearance, they are also drought tolerant and easy to care.

• This Christmas tree loves to be kept in the presence of full Sunlight. Water low and enough to keep soil moist. This species of tree is drought tolerant. Soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained and loamy. Ideal temperature for their healthy growth is 7 – 24 degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizer at least once a month.
