With native originated to Taiwan and Japan, these fragrance plant, Cast Iron Plant could grow up to 60 cm in height and are characterized as an evergreen rhizomatous perennial, treasured with glossy dark green leaves (that grow 30 – 50 cm long) and maroon coloured 8-lobed cream flowers on the inner surface. They generally emerge during the summer season. And they are very forgiving to the poor growth conditions like lightning or watering provided to them. These all conditions make the Cast Iron Plant perfect as an interior or table top plant.

• They are very forgiving toward poor growth conditions, like low lightnings or watering. These Cast Iron plants prefer mostly during partial shade to full shade light conditions. The soil on which these plants are supposed to be planted must be well-drained. Water them moderately enough to keep their soil moist, but not wet. Ideal temperature for their healthy growth is considered to be above 28 degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use organic fertilizers to ensure their steady growth.
