  • Mixing with Soil: For potted plants, mix the coconut husk chips with potting soil. You can use a ratio of 50:50 (half coconut husk chips and half potting soil) or adjust based on the needs of your plants. Ensure the mix is well-blended.

Potting Process: Place a layer of the mixed medium at the bottom of the pot to assist in drainage. Then, position your plant in the center and fill the rest of the pot with the mixture, ensuring the roots are appropriately covered.

Watering: After potting, water your plants thoroughly. Coconut husk chips retain moisture well, so be cautious not to overwater. The chips will gradually release moisture to the plants as needed.

Using in Orchid and Anthurium Culture:
Orchids: Coconut husk chips are commonly used for orchids. For orchid cultivation, place the orchid roots in the coconut husk chips, ensuring they're well-supported. Orchids prefer good aeration, and the chips provide this while retaining moisture.

Anthuriums: Similarly, for anthuriums, use coconut husk chips as part of the potting mix. They prefer a well-draining medium, and the chips can contribute to better growth.
