• Alexandrian senna plants (cassia angustifolia) are known for their showy characteristics. Appearance of showy spikes of yellow flowers make them very noticeable.  These shrubs are treasured with leaves as pinnate with oppositely paired leaflets. The flowers have 5 yellow petals. With easy to care and low maintenance requirement conditions, Alexandrian senna plants are widely grown for their ornamental looks.

Alexandrian senna plant is also easy to care and requires low maintenance.

• Belonging to the Cassia family, and native to north and south America, Cassia angustifolia are preferable plants to grow outdoors in presence of full natural sunlight. Water regularly whenever soil is dry. And do not over-water. Ideal temperature for their growth is 1.6 -4.4 degree Celsius. And in terms of feeding, use Nitrogen – Phosphorus – Potassium fertilizers to ensure their healthy growth.

• FDA approved report state that Senna plant leaves could come in treatment of constipation, haemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and weight loss. But must be used with proper medication from your physician.
