This tree is well possessed with well-shaped rough branches, clothed around with compound feathery leaflets.  And these tree blooms in the Summer season, showered with yellow-golden coloured flowers decorated in a thick clustered form.  Cassia Fistula blossom covers the drooping branches and is followed by dark Brownish red, cylindrical shaped seed pods. These seed pods are poisonous but attractive to look at. Due to their Yellow-Golden Shower like blossoms and drooping rough branches.
