• Phoenix Roebelenii also known as Pygmy Date Palm, is a small to medium-sized, slow-growing slender tree. These plants could bear small yellowish flowers and even small tiny fruit (of only 1 cm in size). These date palms (Phoenix Roebelenii), are actually originated underneath the canopy of dense tropical forests in Africa and Asia. This Slender tree grows very slowly, reaching a maximum height indoors of 2-3 meters. But as a miniature date palm, they grow at the height of 1.5 – 1.8 m. This miniature date palm also produces arching, graceful fronds with delicate leaflets on them. These fronds develop out of a stately central trunk. They could be grown as a container plant or as an addition to the patio.
