Veitchia Palm - "Manila Palm"

Manila Palm is a high valued ornamental plant.

• Manila Palm – Veitchia Merrillii is a small landscape palm, widely cultivated throughout the regions of Malaysia and Philippines. They appeared as a slender, grey trunks, stiff and arching with green leaves.  They blossom during summer, with cream-colored flowers in a large cluster at their canopy base. After blossom green light fruits appear, and when these fruits mature during winter then it turns to bright red colour. These Manila Palm are actually a quick growing palm that could reach up to 7.62 m tall.

It could be a useful resource for cattle breeding and culinary purposes.

• There flowers or leaves could be fed for camels or other cattle. And Manila Palm Aka Veitchia Merrillii tree is a good source for timber. The nutty fruits that it bears, could be an excellent substitute for betel nuts. And they could be consumed raw too. 

It's easy to care for a palm tree.

• Manila Palm Aka Veitchia Merrillii thrives well when kept in presence of full sunlight and could survive in partial shade too. Water them enough to keep soil moist, but not wet. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained, rich with organic contents. And keep it in note, that you must not let their soil temperature go below (-1.1) degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use organic fertilizer.

Plantsworld.ae believes in helping its customers as far as possible and has, therefore, a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.

No cancellations are entertained for those products that the Plantsworld.ae marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Eid, Birthday, Valentine’s Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.

In case of receipt of damaged or defective consumer durable items and nondurable items, please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 1 day of receipt of the products.

In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.
