🌱 Growth & Appearance
Height: 15–30 cm tall (low-growing, perfect for edges and containers).
Flowers: Large, daisy-like blooms that open wide in the sun and close at night or on cloudy days.
Foliage: Silvery-green or dark green leaves, often with a fuzzy or silvery underside to reduce water loss.
Habit: Spreading, mat-forming perennial often grown as an annual.

🏆 Survival Superpowers
Sun Worshipper: Loves blazing full sun – the hotter, the better!
Neglect-Tolerant: Forget to water? No problem. Ideal for low-maintenance gardens.
Coastal Tough: Salt-tolerant, making it great for gardens near the sea.

☀️ Light & Location
Best: Full sun! Requires at least 6–8 hours of direct sun for flowers to open properly.
Tolerates: Very light shade, but blooms will be less prolific and may not open fully.
Avoid: Shady areas (will become leggy and not flower).

💦 Watering
Establishment: Water regularly to help roots establish.
Established: Water deeply but infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Once established, rainfall alone may be sufficient.
Signs of Overwatering: Yellowing leaves or rot.

🌡️ Climate & Soil Tips
Ideal temp: Loves heat! Performs best in temperatures between 20–35°C.
Soil: Must have excellent drainage. Prefers sandy, gritty, well-draining soil. Avoid heavy, clay-based soils.
UAE Hack: Plant in raised beds or mix sand into planting holes to ensure perfect drainage.

✂️ Maintenance & Flowering
Deadheading: Not strictly necessary, but removing spent flowers encourages more blooms.
Pruning: Cut back lightly if plants become leggy to encourage bushier growth.
Feeding: Generally doesn’t need fertilizer. Too much feed can reduce flowering.

🚀 Pro Tips for UAE Gardeners
Flowers not opening? → Not enough sun! Move to a sunnier location.
Leggy growth? → Usually due to too much shade or overwatering. Prune back and adjust conditions.
Brown patches? → Likely root rot from overwatering or poor drainage. Improve drainage and reduce water.
Pests: Extremely pest and disease resistant.
