Basafer Plus is a special iron powder fertilizer that has been developed for soil application through drenching or drip irrigation systems. The specialty of this fertilizer is that it contains 6% Fe chelated by EDDHA and 80% ortho-ortho EDDHA. Thus, it gives an efficacy for long lasting and better effectiveness in curing iron deficiencies over the competition.
Iron chelate is generally recommended for root uptake.
Best chelates are of high pH conditions up to pH 10.
These contain 100 % water soluble microgranules.
And these could be used as both a protectant and curatively against any iron deficiency symptoms (example such as chlorosis at young leaves).
These products could be applied to the soil surface or used by fertigation systems like drip irrigation.
Iron deficiency can be induced by alkaline soil conditions (whose pH values are greater than 7). With 5 % of ortho-ortho Fe-EDDHA.
